(Des Moines, IA) -- The building that used to be Zora Bar and Rooftop on Ingersoll avenue is going into foreclosure.
The bar was built after developer Edwin Allen received $3 million dollars in loan funding back in 2020. Since its opening, the bar quickly gained a negative reputation ranging from noise complaints to multiple shootings, one of which was fatal. Lender Community 1st Credit Union filed for foreclosure earlier this month, with a foreclosure sale scheduled to open on October 22nd.
