(Greenfield, IA) -- Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be on hand next Tuesday through Friday at two locations in Iowa to provide information about how to make homes stronger and safer.

The reps will be present at Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. :

  • Greenfield True Value Hardware, 506 SE Sixth Street, in Greenfield (Adair County)
  • M&H True Value Hardware at 1126 Main Street in Rock Valley (Sioux County)

The agency says those interested can speak directly with FEMA specialists at local home improvement stores, including discussing proven methods for preventing damage from future disasters, techniques for rebuilding homes, and tips for reducing disaster risk for both homeowners and renters.

The Agency also says in a release it is still providing grants and assistance for those in Iowa with flood or storm damage.
