(Davenport, IA) -- An Iowa resident wants the House Ethics Committee to investigate Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks for voter fraud.

A Quad Cities area constituent says the Iowa 1st District representative is registered to vote in Scott County, but her primary residence is elsewhere.

The Quad City Times reports Miller-Meeks' home of 20 years in Ottumwa was redrawn into the 3rd District after the 2020 census.

Members of Congress don't have to live in the district they represent, but voters must reside where they're registered.

Scott County confirms Miller-Meeks has voted there since 2022.

Miller-Meeks campaign didn't respond to a Times request for a comment.
