(Des Moines, IA) -- Governor Kim Reynolds has authorized the deployment of an Iowa Army National Guard team. They will assist with relief efforts following Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.
The Red Cross is also providing support to those affected by the disaster. The hurricane has resulted in over 100 fatalities, with more than 600 individuals reported missing.
