(Webster County, IA) -- A Webster County woman is being charged with attempted murder.
The Webster County Sheriff's Office says 29 year-old Cheyanne Guthrie has been charged in connection to a shooting last week in Moorland. Investigators say the victim was driven in a private vehicle to a hospital in Mason City with a gunshot wound to the torso on September 26th. A criminal complaint in the case says Guthrie shot the victim through the driver's side door of a car after an argument.
The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.
