(Riverside, IA) -- Iowa's 1st Congressional District race looks headed for a recount... again.

Incumbent Republican candidate Mariannette Miller-Meeks declared victory in the race last night.

Her lead over Democratic challenger Christina Bohannan is just 415 votes with 90-percent of Washington County's precincts yet to report due to what the county auditor tells the Cedar Rapids Gazette is a scanner issue.

They expect to resume the count this morning.

Washington County broke for Miller-Meeks by 2-thousand votes in 2022.

The 2020 race between Miller-Meeks and Democratic Rita Hart went to a recount after Hart challenged Miller-Meeks six vote victory.
