(Ames, IA) -- Bright spring colors will be on display Saturday at Reiman Gardens in Ames.

The event will offer attendees and chance to enjoy nature, art, live entertainment, and hands-on activities for all ages. The event runs from 9am-4pm on Saturday, April 18th.

Andrew Gogerty with Reiman Gardens says, "We have over 50,000 tulips. The Gardens really just look stunning. It's not just tulips, it's hyacinth, it's daffodils, it's all of our redbud trees that are blooming, magnolia trees that are blooming, a lot of striped squill, so tulips are the star of the show, but that's definitely not the only flower you'll see while you're here at Reiman Gardens."

Attendees can enjoy live music, Irish dancers, artist exhibitions including the Mid Iowa Woodcarvers, hands-on craft stations, and an outdoor concert by local Iowa artist Chad Elliot. The event is free for Reiman Gardens members and students at Iowa State University, and standard admission apply to the general public.

More information is available on the Reiman Gardens website.
