(West Des Moines, IA) -- Drivers in West Des Moines can expect some delays Friday evening.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says the westbound I-80 on-ramp at southbound Jordan Creek Parkway, exit 121, will close from 7pm Friday, October 2nd until 11am on Saturday, October 3rd, weather permitting. A detour will be posted during the closure, using Ashworth Road between Jordan Creek Parkway and Grand Prairie Parkway.
The DOT says motorists should approach the area with caution and obey the posted speed limit. Fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones.
