An Ankeny, Iowa elementary school was placed on lock-down briefly this morning, as police responded to an incident in a nearby neighborhood.
Ankeny School District Spokesperson Samantha Kampman says the issue was resolved around Noon, and Crocker Elementary returned to its normal schedule.
She says at no time was the safety of students or staff compromised.
