Iowa Deputy investigated for Facebook posts about Muslims GRAPHIC

Polk County Sheriff's Deputy Dan Charleston is reportedly being investigated for posts on his Facebook page about Muslims.

In a brief message to WHO Radio News Charleston writes that he is "...restricted from commenting about an internal investigation."  But, adds: "Truth always rises to the top in time."

The Iowa Informer reports one includes a picture with the heading:  verses from the Koran that inspire terrorists.   The post says: "No reasoning with this evil ideology."

Dan Charleston has run for the Polk County Sheriff's job twice in past elections, and has been a critic of  Sheriff Bill McCarthy.
