Iowa cop who fired fatal shot named

More details are being released about a fatal shooting, involving a Williamsburg, Iowa Police officer.

Authorities say the officer who fired a shot that killed Robin Blaylock was Officer Blake Heller, a full-time Iowa County Deputy, who also works part-time for the cities of Williamsburg and Marengo.

Officer Heller, and officers from the Marengo Police Department and Iowa County Sheriff's Office were called to a investigate a domestic disturbance in North English Saturday night, June 3rd.    

A woman at the residence claimed her husband had a gun.   Blaylock was shot and killed by police.   

An autopsy was to be performed in Ankeny this week.
