Iowa political 'tweeter' has advice for 'Tweeter-in-Chief'

The President is being criticized for his frequent off-the-cuff tweeting and, an Iowa politician who uses Twitter a lot says he second-guesses some of his own tweets as well.

"Of course, I've regretted things that I've tweeted.  And, (I) particularly regret the fact that I got big thumbs and that I make a lot of spelling mistakes, but, those aren't so critical as something you say that you should've said in a little different way."

And, Senator Charles Grassley has some advice for the "Tweeter-in-Chief".

"I would suggest that the President could take care of any criticism he has or (that) people have about his Twitter, by, just before he punches 'send', let at least one other person see what he's going to send."

Senator Grassley says that's a practice he tries to follow whenever he's in Washington, but, he says when he's tweeting the score of the U-N-I women's volleyball games, he doesn't bother.

The Iowa Republican says he can't recall ever sending anything like the President's highly-publicized "covfefe" tweet.
