Des Moines Police tell WHO Radio News this morning a four year old girl who shot herself in the leg last night is hospitalized with a non-life threatening injury.
It was about 7 Thursday night that the call came for a home on Dean Avenue, saying a 4 year old had shot herself in the leg.
No charges or arrests yet, but Des Moines Police detectives are investigating how the child got her hands on a gun.
