A volunteer at the 80/35 Music Festival is accused of stealing thousands of dollars.
Organizers told Des Moines Police about missing money from beer ticket sales at the end of day one, so undercover officers watched volunteers manage beer ticket sales on day two.
According to a police report obtained by WHO Radio News, an officer saw 34-year-old Jessica Chi Rieper of Waukee stuff a wad of cash into her bag.
Police say they found more than three-thousand dollars in cash, and are also investigating whether Rieper also swiped customer's credit cards with her personal phone.
Rieper was arrested for Second Degree Theft, a Class D Felony.
