As we begin to think ahead to next year, at least one analyst believes beans will be the more profitable crop AND that cash rents will have to come down in order to stay in the green.
University of Illinois Ag and Consumer Economist Gary Schnitke also says it could be slim pickins for the next couple of years in regard to finding profit.
