(Wadena, Iowa)   The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is giving credit to a man and woman, who spotted an injured eagle, while fishing for trout near Wadena, in northeast Iowa.

The DNR says Zachary Cummings and Paige Conrad found an eagle in the stream bed with an injured wing.   They contacted DNR Conservation Officer, Chris Jones, and the Fayette County Sheriff's Department, who then helped capture the bird and transport it to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
