Man rescued from 15-foot hole on Des Moines' east side

(Des Moines, Iowa)   A man fell into a 15-foot hole on Des Moines' east side this (Thursday) morning.  Police say he called 911 at 4:38 a.m. 

Des Moines firefighters were able to get the man out of the hole in about 40-minutes.

The man, who's name has not been released, was taken to a local hospital with possible hypothermia.

The hole the man fell into is near railroad tracks, it's believed to have been used to drop grain from a train car into storage.
