(Polk County, Iowa) A person killed in a crash the afternoon of December 24th, in northeast Polk County has been identified as 16-year-old Joseph Livingston of Altoona.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the driver, was 20-year-old Madalyn Livingston-Vollmer of Marshalltown.
The driver of the SUV involved in the crash, has been identified as 20-year-old Jared Griffin, of Kellogg.
There were three passengers in the SUV: 19-year old Dylan Stockstell of Newton, 18-year old Jayme Griffin of Kellogg, and 5-month old Mercy Griffin of Kellogg.
No word on the conditions of those injured in the crash, however, the infant was not injured, authorities say she was in a properly-installed car-seat.
The crashed happened around 2:15 p.m., on December 24th, on NE 72nd Street, near Interstate 80.
There have been no charges filed as of this time.
