Five people facing drug charges in Marshalltown, Iowa

(MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa)  Five people are facing drug charges, after search warrants were served at three locations in Marshalltown.  The Mid-Iowa Drug Task force executed search warrants late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.  Officers found two pounds of methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $70,000, as well as drug paraphernalia and cash at 509 W. South Street, 208 N 5th Avenue, and at an apartment at 408 Melody Lane.

The following people were arrested and taken into custody:

Javier Corona, 30, Marshalltown, Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to Deliver (Methamphetamine)

Rocio Cruz, 25, Marshalltown, Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to Deliver (Methamphetamine)

Julio Adrian Garcia-Macias, 27, Marshalltown, Possession of drug paraphernalia

Stefani Jo Perdue, 22, Marshalltown, Possession of drug paraphernalia

Juan Manuel Saldana-Diaz, 21, Marshalltown, Possession of drug paraphernalia

Officers found evidence of meth use and sales, and seized about two pounds of meth, drug paraphernalia, and cash.

Additional arrests are pending.
