There is a massive food drive for the Food Bank of Iowa in conjunction with the Des Moines Symphony's Yankee Doodle Pops coming up on July 2nd. Brad Waller of Hy-Vee says grocery carts at all Des Moines area stores will have grocery carts wrapped in the Drive Against Hunger logo where you can drop your Food Bank donations. Lt. Governor Adam Greg is spearheading the Drive Against Hunger at the Capitol. Michelle Book of the Food Bank says you can also donate cash on their website, www.FoodBankIowa.org. You can also donate on July 2nd at the Yankee Doodle Pops Concert on the west side of the Capitol. The need is great! You can hear the entire interview with Brad, Adam and Michelle here...
