DES MOINES, Iowa - Two people escaped a house fire on the east side of Des Moines early this morning.
Fire fighters were called to a house on the corner of E. 27th Court and Garfield just before 4 o'clock and found flames pouring out of all sides of the
Kerry Schneider of the Des Moines Fire Department tells WHO Channel 13 it took about 20 minutes to get the fire put out, although the house was completely destroyed.
Des Moines police say the fire was intentionally set following a fight at the house. They say there is a suspect, but no arrests have been made yet.
