WEST DES MOINES, Iowa- West Des Moines Police are releasing more details about a shooting Sunday night near Valley Junction.
Police were called around 10:45, about a fight and gunshots in the 400 block of 7th Street. Police say 33-year-old Robert Scott Jr was shot, and drove himself to a nearby fire station for help.
Police also say 33-year old Christopher Bender of West Des Moines called police to explain it was a family dispute. The two men are related by marriage.
No charges have been filed.
