Sec Pompeo visits Iowa Farmers

A busy schedule in Iowa today for the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as he met with farmers and leaders in the ag industry. He began by touring the Johnston High School FFA facilities, then headed over to Corteva headquarters:

Along with Governor Reynolds and U.S. Ambassador to China Terry Branstad they discussed how embracing a free enterprise system has allowed the the industry in this country to be the most successful in the world:

Lt. Governor Adam Gregg, Secretary of Ag Mike Naig and Deputy Secretary of Ag Julie Kenney were all on hand:

With the corn green corn plants in the background it's certain everybody is in doors this time of year:

Good to see Ambassador Branstad back in Iowa. Next it was off to the World Food Prize for a major policy speech to the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation and others:
