Dry weather eases flooding concerns

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Very little rainfall so far in June has done a lot to ease flooding in Central Iowa rivers and streams. Meteorologist Brooke Hagenhoff with the National Weather Service in Johnston says at one point in May there were flood warnings for a dozen Central Iowa rivers and streams--that number's now down to two. Hagenhoff says on Wednesday they cancelled a flood warning for Estherville that had been in effect since the middle of March.
