Lytton, Iowa man killed in Calhoun County crash with semi

CALHOUN COUNTY, Iowa- A northwest Iowa man was killed in a crash this (Tuesday) morning in Calhoun County, about 30 miles west of Fort Dodge.

The Iowa State Patrol says 61-year-old Gary Pudenz of Lytton was driving his Dodge Ram truck westbound on Highway 7, around 9:20 a.m. when he pulled away from a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 4, in front of a northbound semi, driven by 21-year-old Mitchell Stief of Cherokee.

Pudenz died at the scene. Stief was treated for minor injuries.
