DES MOINES, Iowa - An adult and a child are dead after a house fire in Des Moines.
The fire broke out at a duplex in the 13-hundred block of 9th Street around 10:45 Sunday morning.
Heavy smoke and flames were shooting from the home when crews arrived. The fire took about 15 minutes to put the fire out.
The fire department hasn't released any details about the two deaths, including the victims' names.
