One Man Dead in Des Moines Shooting

DES MOINES, Iowa -- A man is dead after a shooting near Ingersoll Avenue early Sunday morning.

Police say they responded to the 2600 block of Ingersoll Avenue around 1:30 a.m. and found a 45-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

24-year-old Rythm Huddleston was arrested Sunday morning, charged with first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

Huddleston is being booked into the Polk County Jail.
