State Approves $7.5 Million for Traffic Improvements on Iowa Roads

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa Transportation Commission is spending $7.5 million on safety improvements for roads.

The money is being used across the state on 26 projects.

It's part of the state's annual Traffic Safety Improvement Program which is directed to city, county and state roads.

Much of the money is used to build roundabouts and install traffic lights and turn lanes.
