DES MOINES, Iowa -- A fictional restaurant appearing in several cult-classic films is popping up for about a week in the East Village. (And selling real food.)
Mooby's opened in the Up-Down Arcade Bar in Des Moines' East Village March 31st, selling burgers called 'Cow Tippers' with a side of 'Onion Rings to rule them all.'
According to Mooby's website, the pop-up is an interactive experience with photo ops and merchandise from some of Kevin Smith's famous films like Jay and Silent Bob, Clerks II and Dogma.
It costs $29 to reserve a time to get in and purchase a meal.
The experience is timed with limited guests and seating to allow for COVID safety.
Mooby's is open daily 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. through April 7th.
