(Cerro Gordo County, IA) -- A passerby is credited with saving a woman trapped in her overturned pickup moments before it burst into flames. Jason Hahn is identified by a friend on Facebook as the man who found the truck, upside down on the side of a northern Iowa highway near Mason City, wheels still turning, and smoke coming from the engine.

Hahn freed the woman and helped her get away from the Ford F-150 as the smoke turned to fire that engulfed the truck.

The Iowa State Patrol reports 61-year-old Donna Rench of Manly was taken to MercyOne.

The Iowa State Patrol, Mason City Fire Department and Medics, and the Clear Lake Fire Department assisted at the scene, according to KIMT-TV.
