Do you support the Back the Blue Bill that passed the Iowa House yesterday?

Senate File 342 - known as the Back The Blue Bill - passed the Iowa House last night 63-30. The series of changes came in response to the trouble on Iowa streets last summer.

If the Senate passes the Bill and the Governor signs it, it will make rioting a felony and will increase penalties for blocking streets and highways, destroying public property and criminalizes aiming lasers at police.

Representative Jared Klein voiced what a lot of people have been saying: "What we've seen is not peaceful protesting. What we've seen is destruction and damage in our communities."

Democrats don't like it: "I think this bill unnecessarily pits law enforcement against groups like Black Lives Matter and other protesters," said Rep. Christina Bohannan.

As you know, my show has been running a Back The Blue campaign for weeks now. You can nominate an officer by clicking RIGHT HERE.

Thanks to American Topper & Accessories for their incredible support!

The Bill now heads to the Senate.

What do you think? Do we need this law change to support our Police?
