Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Minnesota rank high for Millennials

WalletHub study shows Midwest states rank high for Millennials

(Undated) -- The Midwest does will on a new list of best states for Millennials.

Iowa ranks 5th best, and is number one in the nation for Millennial home ownership. Minnesota is 6th best. Wisconsin is 9th. Illinois 11th. Nebraska 14th and ranks high for civic engagement, economic health, and quality of life.

Jill Gonzalez, Analyst with WalletHub says they evaluated several markers to determine the states where Millennials are thriving.

"We look at affordability, education and health, quality of life, economic health, and civic engagement." Gonzalez says.
