(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A new program in the Linn-Mar and Marion school districts is helping students apply what they've learned to real-world experiences.

The Venture Program lets students choose from one of ten areas of study, from Advanced Business to Earth Science.

Students can earn high school credit in Iowa Core standards with Venture Academics.

The program works with Marion Economic Development Corporation, who helps connect students with businesses.
