Hot on the heels of his Energy Secretary laughing at the suggestion that the Biden Administration could actually do anything about gas prices, the President is now contemplating closing another oil pipeline!

While they consider making gas more expensive, Biden's energy secretary, Jennifer Granholm, told CNN on Sunday that home heating prices will rise as well. "Yeah, this is going to happen. It will be more expensive this year than last year," she said.

Some people have suggested that home heating prices could rise as much as 96% this winter.

Yesterday I only put half a tank of gas in my car as the cost is now an issue for my family. I figure that's what I'll need for the week and I hope the price comes down by the next time it's empty. If Biden does decide to shut down Line 5, then gas prices will only get more ex[pensive here.

The Line 5 pipeline is part of a network that moves crude oil from western Canada, transporting about 540,000 barrels per day.

What about you? Will your consumption have to drop?
