(Moline, IL) -- United Auto Workers union members will vote on another labor contract with John Deere this week. The UAW announced a new tentative agreement late last week. The union says the new agreement has modest modifications to the previous contract proposal that was rejected, including the same ten percent raises, no changes to the cost of health benefits, and improvements to paid time off and retirement. Union members will vote on the latest contract Wednesday. Thousands of John Deere workers in Iowa, Illinois, and Kansas have been on strike for over a month.
