Cedar Rapids Mayoral Election Today

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids residents are headed to the polls today to elect a new mayor. Tiffany O'Donnell and Amara Andrews will be the only candidates on the runoff ballot after Mayor Brad Hart failed to finish in the top two of vote getters on Election Day. O'Donnell got 42% of the votes while Andrews got 28%. Linn County Auditor Joel Miller says the runoff election will cost about $80,000. More election information can be found here.
