(Omaha, NE) -- Nebraska's Attorney General is the latest to sign a bipartisan letter to the Federal Communications Commission.

The letter calls on the organization to target scammers and foreign-based robocalls.

A release from Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson's office says Americans lost over $500 million in 2020 due to robocalls.

The 51 AGs signing the letter want the FCC to target companies allowing scam calls from other countries, calling them "gateway providers."
