(West Des Moines, IA) -- West Des Moines is looking for more lifeguards for summer. Parks and Recs says registration for lifeguard training by the American Red Cross is open. The classes begin next month and cost $175. Which the city says will be reimbursed for those who apply and work for the city this summer. Participants must be 15 years old by the last day of class on May 1st. Registration and applications can be filled out on the city's website.
