The Nebraska Democratic Party has scheduled a news conference for noon today to announce who their nominee will be for the June 28th special election in the First Congressional District.
The Party says their executive committee met Monday night to finalize the choice.
The Nebraska Democratic and Republican Parties will select one candidate to be listed on the special election ballot.
The winner of the special election will serve until the end of Jeff Fortenberry’s term in January 2023.
