Nebraska Inmate Death Investigated

Under state law, a Grand Jury will be put together to investigate the death of a Nebraska Correctional Services inmate.

Corrections says 64-year-old Russell Harms died Monday morning at the Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln.

Harms was serving a life sentence for First-Degree Murder and Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony for the 1999 shooting death of 84-year-old Tennyson Kelsay in Auburn.

His sentence started October 11th, 2000.

Tennyson Kelsay is the grandfather of two former Nebraska football stars Chris and Chad Kelsay.
