(Undated) -- Nebraska's leading economic indicator goes up in April. Today's report from University of Nebraska-Lincoln puts Nebraska's leading economic indicator at 1.85%, indicating rapid economic growth. April is the third consecutive month the leading economic indicator has gone up. University of Nebraska says two of the main reasons the indicator is going up are an increase in airline passengers and a decline in unemployment insurance claims.
