(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is signing the final bills into law from this year’s legislative session. One of the latest laws signed by the governor allows Iowa parents to apply for public school open enrollment at any time of the year. There was previously a March first deadline for the next school year. Another bill passed this week creates a new antlerless deer hunting season in January where AR-15 style firearms are allowed. The governor is also ending the state sales tax on feminine hygiene products along with adult and infant diapers. A new Iowa law is also allowing most ATV’s and UTV’s on Iowa roads and highways starting July 1. Another major bill signed by the governor recently requires most Iowa gas stations to be able to sell E-15 gasoline by 2026.
