(Bettendorf, IA) -- Heavy rain led to a mudslide at a condominium complex in Bettendorf.
The mud entering 'The Manor' condos on Monday seemed to come from a construction site on a nearby hill.
Due to water and mud damage, residents lost valuables. Some have reached out to the city and construction company in previous weeks with concerns of flooding, but say they weren't heard.
The Bettendorf City Council voted to develop the space next the condos into housing despite opposition from locals.
