The Omaha Fire Department says firefighters responding to the scene of a fire in a two story, single family residence near 19th and Lothrop Streets saw the fire and smoke as they approached.
Investigators say no one was home at the time of the early Wednesday evening fire and no injuries were reported in the fire that took about 40 minutes to bring under control.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
