(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police have made another arrest in the Court Avenue fight this past Sunday morning that resulted in a stabbing and a shooting.

Police identified the shooting suspect, 25-year-old Terrion Maxfield, after he crashed his vehicle near SE 6th St and Bell Avenue while trying to elude police after the Court Avenue fight. Maxfield fled the scene of the accident on SE 6th & Bell Avenue, leaving behind a seriously injured passenger--along with a firearm, illegal narcotics, and a large amount of cash in the crashed vehicle.

Des Moines Police detectives located Maxfield in the 1000 block of 73rd Street in Windsor Heights, Iowa. He was taken into custody with the help of people nearby.

Maxfield faces several charges including attempted murder and possession of crack cocaine in the Court Avenue shooting last Sunday. He also faces possession of cocaine and other charges from his arrest yesterday.
