(Ankeny, IA) -- The City of Ankeny is hosting a tree and branch recycling event for residents Saturday.
The event will be held at the City Maintenance Facility across the street from the Des Moines Area Community College entrance on South Ankeny Boulevard from 9am to 3pm. Trees and branches that will be accepted must be 1 to 8 inches in diameter. The event is free but for Ankeny residents only. Participants will be asked to show proof of residency.
