Governor Reynolds Signs Harvest Proclamation

(Iowa) -- Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds signs the Harvest Proclamation, regarding the weight limits of vehicles carrying grain, fertilizer, manure and fuel.

The proclamation goes into effect immediately and lasts through November 27th and allows vehicles transporting those goods as well as corn, soybeans, hay, straw, silage, stover, and fertilizer to be overweight not exceeding 90,000 pounds without a permit. It also includes a temporary suspension of certain regulations regarding service hours for crews and drivers hauling motor fuel.
