(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A judge denies the request to have charges dropped against one of two men facing charges in the mass shooting at a nightclub in Cedar Rapids.

A judge has dismissed the argument to drop charges against Dimione Walker. Court documents show he pleaded not guilty in the deadly April 10th shooting at Taboo Nightclub, claiming self defense or defense of others. Walker's trial is scheduled to begin November 8th.

Timothy Rush is also charged in the shooting. His trial is scheduled to begin in March.
