Missing persons case turns into twisty mystery for Des Moines Police

(Des Moimes, IA) A missing persons case turns into a kidnapping case, and then a murder investigation for Des Moines police.

A missimg person was found by Des Moines Police at a local hospital on Election Day. Kidnapped, say police. Six people have been arrested on kidnapping, drug, and gun charges in the case.

But, the story takes a Dateline-style twist when police say the the kidnapping victim turns out to be a suspect in a recent murder case, with no connection to the kidnapping.

Des Moines Police say the kidnapping victim who is in the hospital is now facing a first degree murder charge.

Des Moines police accuse him of being involved in the targeted shooting of 22-year-old Dok Dok of Des Moines, who was killed in October.
