Nebraska Woman Sentenced In Fed Sex Trafficking Case

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Nebraska says a Seward woman is headed to federal prison for conspiracy to sex traffic minors.

28-year-old Sidney Marker is sentenced in federal court in Omaha to 180-months in prison by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr.

Marker conspired with two others to sex traffic minors at Omaha area hotels and a Ralston apartment between January 2020 and February 2021.

There is no parole in the federal prison system.

Last week, Rossiter sentenced 42-year old co-defendant Carney Turner to life imprisonment on one count of conspiracy to sex traffic minors, three counts of sex trafficking of a minor, and two counts of enticement of a minor.

Rossiter also sentenced 20-year old co-defendant Julisha Biggs of Omaha to 87 months imprisonment for her role in the conspiracy.
